Residence in Latsia (Z & L)

Project Overview

Residence in Latsia (Z & L)

Residence in Latsia (Z & L) is a characteristic example of minimalist design, where simplicity and clean lines highlight the elegance of the architectural composition.

The building’s volume is low and horizontally extended, following strong linear elements that emphasise its relationship with the surrounding environment and create a sense of calmness and stability.

The façade is organised with geometric precision, making dynamic use of the contrast between white surfaces, metal panels in earthy tones and vertical timber louvers. Textures and colours are combined in a harmonious composition, balancing modern minimalism with natural warmth.

Openings are discreet and strategically positioned to ensure abundant natural light within the interior, without disrupting the clarity of the elevations. The entrance is subtly defined and seamlessly integrated into the overall composition, enhancing the sense of privacy.

All living spaces are organised on the ground floor and essentially revolve around the swimming pool, with the main openings oriented toward it. This strengthens the connection between interior and exterior living.

The architectural philosophy of the project is based on simplicity, functionality and understated luxury — elements that reflect a contemporary lifestyle focused on quality and harmony with the environment.

Design Approach

The design approach of the residence is based on minimalist principles, with simplicity, clarity and functionality shaping the overall architectural composition.

The low and horizontally extended volume creates a calm and stable presence, while strengthening the relationship between the building and its surrounding environment. Clean lines and strong linear elements define the character of the residence.

The façade is organised with geometric precision, combining white surfaces, earthy metal panels and vertical timber louvers. This material palette balances modern minimalism with natural warmth, giving the project a refined and contemporary identity.

Openings are carefully positioned to allow natural light into the interior while preserving the clarity of the elevations and enhancing privacy. The entrance is subtly integrated into the overall design, supporting the discreet character of the residence.

The living spaces are organised on the ground floor and oriented around the swimming pool, creating a strong relationship between interior and exterior life. The result is a residence that combines functionality, comfort and understated luxury in harmony with its environment.
