Xenios Pharmacy, Tseri

Location: Nicosia

The space, designed by Maratheftis Architects Studio, is primarily intended for use as a pharmacy. The building is developed across three levels: a basement accommodating parking spaces, a ground floor housing the main pharmacy area and laboratory (lab), and a mezzanine level that includes offices, retail space, and a multi-purpose area.

The interior spaces are largely open plan, allowing visitors to move freely throughout. The ground floor and mezzanine essentially function as a unified space, enhancing the sense of openness and spatial continuity.

Externally, the building envelope is clad on all façades with perforated aluminium panels, creating a cohesive and contemporary aesthetic. These panels also serve as sun-shading devices for the extensive glazing, while their perforation pattern generates an engaging interplay of light within the interior.
